US-Parks.com Inc. was established in August 2000 with the hopes to inspire travel to National Parks and Monuments within the United States. Over the years, we have expanded our destinations to BLM, Forest Service and other government lands. We don't intend to stop there, we want to encourage travelers to experience everything that is beautiful about the United States.

From park information, to camping, lodging, road trips, wildlife viewing and outdoor gear, US-Parks.com is all about the Great Outdoors! We are a team of park enthusiasts who have spent our lives traveling to as many parks as possible and wanting to share each and every experience.

When US-Parks.com started in 2000, we had only a couple of Road Trips, basic coverage of the top National Parks and a few National Monuments. Now, we have thousands of pages of information regarding thousands of parks from highlights, planning, geology, camping, lodging, wildlife and more!

The Team

John - President

John has over 40 years experience traveling to the National Parks, Monuments, BLM's and more. John has spent everything from weekend getaways to 6 week vacations, car camping trips to backpacking adventures around the United States. His photographs are throughout the site and his experiences are the foundation to US-Parks.com.

John draws from his 40+ years as a Director of Engineering to develop the code that runs US-Parks.com. He left behind a long standing career in Engineering to partake in US-Parks.com. He enjoys romping around the parks more than sitting behind a desk.

Kristin - CEO

Kristin has added nearly 25 years of experience to the team with various trips around the United States to many of the National Parks, Monuments and more. Kristin has enjoyed many road trips, car camping experiences and grew up with National Parks and Monuments as a priority during summer vacations.

Kristin decided that contributing to US-Parks.com sounded more fun than exploring options with her Mathematics and Economics degrees.

Sara - Director

Sara has enjoyed 25 years traveling to the parks from Everglades National Park to Olympic National Park. Weekend getaways are her favorite and still enjoys a road trip as often as possible.

To this day, each of the US-Parks.com team members still takes road trips from weekend getaways to multi-day adventures to continue supplying the best information to our site visitors. A goal we wish to continue for the years to come.
