Yorktown Battlefield Yorktown Battlefield is the site of the final, major battle of the American Revolutionary War and symbolic end of Colonial English America. Yorktown National Cemetery Today, the Yorktown National Cemetery, contains the remains of 2,183 soldiers, ten of which are Confederate. Only 747 of the dead are identified. Yosemite National Park Yosemite National Park harbors a grand collection of waterfalls, meadows, and forests that include groves of giant sequoias, the world's largest living things. Yucca House National Monument Yucca House National Monument is a large, unexcavated Ancestral Puebloan surface site. Yukon - Charley Rivers National Preserve Located along the Canadian border in central Alaska, the preserve protects 115 miles of the 1,800-mile Yukon River and the entire Charley River basin. The Charley, a 100-mile long wild river, is considered by many to be the most spectacular river in Alaska.
