The park grounds are open every day of the year from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm EST, allowing access to both the historic prison site and Andersonville National Cemeteryr

Location

The picnic area is located inside park grounds, between the historic prison site and the National Cemetery.

National Prisoner of War Museum

Open All Year 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location

Follow main park entrance road directly to National Prisoner of War Museum.

Closures

The National Prisoner of War Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Year's Day (January 1st).
