Dankworth Village

Description:

Take a trip back in time and see how the Mogollon people became successful farmers in the southeastern Arizona, the Paleo-Indian (Clovis culture) hunters use stone-tipped spears and Cochise people hunt and gather throughout the year.

Directions:

Take Highway 191 south from Safford for 7 miles. Dankworth Ponds State Park sign will be on east side of road. Turn onto Dankworth Road to parking lot. This is a State Park and cars must pay $4.00 fee.
