Description:

Semi-primitive riverside camping with beautiful views of the scenic Colorado River Canyon, Drinks Canyon Campground is located 6 miles from the junction of U.S. Highway 191 and Utah Highway 128. There are 3 entrances to the camping area; the payment station is located in the middle area. Campsites are available on a first-come, first served basis. There is no water available. There are toilet facilities. Please keep the area beautiful: pack out all trash you bring in, and any you find along the way! Directions:

From the center of Moab (at Center and Main) head north on U.S. Highway 191 to Utah Highway 128 just south of the Colorado River. Turn right (east) on Hwy 128 and drive 6 miles. You will see The Drinks Canyon Campground on the left.

The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
