Price Canyon Recreation Area

Description:

Elevation is 8000 ft. 12 campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, drinking water and pit toilets. There are 3 day group sites available through reservations. This is a fee area. There is a self-guided nature trail through the forest of oak, pines, and mountain mahogany. Fantastic views of the canyon.

Featured Wildlife
The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
