Special Programs Forty-five minute guided tour brings visitors to areas of the ship not normally open to the public. Tour times: 11 a.m., 2.p.m. and 3 p.m. January 2-March 31, 2005 tours offered at 1 PM and 2 PM. School Vacation Week (February 21-25, 2005): Main Deck open (weather permitting) for self-guided visit, 10-4, 45 minute tours offered at 11, 2, and 3

Closures The USS CONSTITUTION is closed on Mondays year round. During winter hours, the ship is also closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Special Programs Tours every 30 minutes ending at 3:30. Since the September 11th terrorist attacks, all visitors are required to go through a screening process. It is a good idea to arrive at least a half-hour early to allow time to get through our security tent. As a reminder, all item currently banned from federal buildings and airports will not be allowed onboard "Old Ironsides", including guns, mace, and any sharp objects such as razors, knives, pocket knives, Swiss Army knives, "Leatherman" type tools, scissors, letter openers, etc.

Special Programs Freedom Trail Tours - Free 90 minute walking tour led by National Park Service Rangers along the heart of Boston"s Freedom Trail. Discover Boston"s role in the American Revolution. For more information call (617) 242-5642. Tours are offered weather permitting. Each tour is limited to 30 people: first come, first serve. Rangers will distribute free stickers 30 minutes before tour time. Tours fill up quickly in summer months. Summer schedule: June 13 through September 5, 2004 Daily : 10 a.m. 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Fall schedule: September 6 through November 27, 2004 Weekends: 10 am, 11 am, and 2 pm. Weekdays: 2 p.m. Winter schedule: November 27, 2004 through April 2005. Freedom Trail tours will end for the winter season on November 27th but will resume in April 2005.
