Click here for more cabin information and maps. Cabin is a 12' x 14' Pan Abode design with sleeping capacity for 4 - 6 people. Beds are wooden bunks single person upper bunk and double for lower bunk. The cabin is equipped with table, benches, woodstove, and an outhouse The Cabin is also equipped with a skiff and oars. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags,pads,cook stoves,cooking gear and food. The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be at least 18 years of age, and must be a member of the party using the cabin. There are no discounts for Golden Age/Passports for Alaska cabin rentals. Cabin is located away from beach in a stand of large old-growth spruce, hemlock and cedar. Large sand beach close to the cabin. Access by floatplane. Mooring buoy available on saltwater. This cabin is in a designated Wilderness area, and access by a helicopter is illegal. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 September 30 and a maximum stay of 1 consecutive nights per party October 1- April 30. Effective November (TBD), 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. A change in reservation is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation. After one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the reservation and at a later time, re-book the new dates. This policy has been established to assure that reservations for cabins are fair and equitable for everyone. Effective November 17, 2003, reservations for Alaska cabins will be subject to a new policy allowing only one change per reservation. Same day reservations are allowed for this cabin. Use of this cabin by a commercial operator, such as an outfitter or guide, is NOT allowed. Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this. In fall, winter, and early spring, the cabin may be inaccessible due to frozen lake surface (floatplanes cannot land). Please contact the local Forest Service Ranger District office for information prior to making reservations during these periods. Water should be treated or boiled prior to drinking. All garbage and food must be packed out. Access is by floatplane or canoe (canoe not provided). Mooring buoy available on saltwater, with a 2.5 mile trail to the lake and 2 mile paddle to cabin. This cabin is in a designated Wilderness area, and access by helicopter is illegal.

Ella Narrows Cabin (AK) Ketchikan/Misty AK Approximately 24 air miles northeast of Ketchikan on Revillagedo Island. Cabin is on the north end of Ella Lake. Access is by floatplane or boat. Refer to USGS Ketchikan C-4 and B-4.
