Bull Trout Campground Description

Located adjacent to Bull Trout Lake. Campground host is on site. This lake is for non-motorized boats only. Some first-come, first-serve sites may be available. Please contact the Lowman Ranger District at 208-259-3361 for camping information regarding fees and services during the off season (September to June.

Bull Trout Campground Alerts

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. Additional vehicles may be subject to parking fees. After September 7, anyone wishing to reserve sites 35-38 can do so by contacting the Lowman District Office at 208-259-3361. There will be forest health management activities occurring in the Spring of 2009 at Bull Trout campground to protect against the invading Mountain Pine Beetle. Chainsaws and other motorized equipment will be heard throughout the day beginning at 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Activities will begin in early June and last until July 2nd.

Bull Trout (ID) LOWMAN ID From Boise, Idaho, take State Street to Highway 55 North. At Banks, take Highway 17 (Banks-Lowman Highway) to Lowman. Take Highway 21 east to milepost 107. Turn left on Road 500, proceed 2 miles.
