Chemeketan Campground Description

Located approximately 26 miles south of Stanley, Idaho, near the headwaters of the Salmon River. Campground is located in an alpine environment with average summer temperatures of 70 degrees high, and 40 degrees low. Sites are spacious rustic and secluded.

Chemeketan Campground Directions

Chemeketan Campground (ID) SAWTOOTH NRA Stanley ID Approximately 26.5 miles south of Stanley, Idaho, on Highway 75, between mile marker 163 and 162. Turn southwest off Highway on to dirt road. Campground is located 4 miles beyond turnoff. Fording the river is necessary to access the campground.
