Hurricane Creek Campground Description

Hurricane Creek Campground is located on beautiful Lake Barkley 12 miles from Cadiz, KY. It is nested in the wooded, rolling hills of southwestern Kentucky. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming as well as many other activities. An abundance of wildlife can be seen in this area including whitetail deer. The campground offers 51 sites with water and/or electric hookups. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, a playground, and public telephones.

Park closes Monday October 27, 2008., Campsites are $10-$20 per night.

Hurricane Creek (KY) BOX 218 Grand Rivers KY 42045-0218 From Paducah, KY: Take I-24 east to exit 45. Turn right on Hwy 293 west, go .3 miles. Turn left on Hwy 93 south, go 5.3 miles. Turn right on Hwy 274 south, go 5.7 miles. Turn right on Hurricane camp road. Campground on left. From Nashville, TN: Take I-24 west to exit 56. Turn left on Hwy 139 north, go approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Hwy 276, go 8 miles. Turn right on Hwy 274, go 1 mile. Turn left on Hurricane Camp Road, campground is on left.
