North Fork Campground Description

North Fork Campground is located on Rough River Lake. Rough River Lake lies within the "Clifty" area of the Pennyroyal Region of Kentucky, providing views of ancient sandstone, shale, and limestone cliffs. There are many caverns in the area, including Mammoth Caves, the longest cave system in the world.

North Fork Campground Alerts

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open from the first of May to mid-September with Park Attendants on duty, at which time the sites from from $17-$20/night. The telephone number is 270-257-8139. Local option prohibits the use of alcohol. Off-road vehicles are not allowed.
