Aspen Group Area Campground Alerts

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This site holds 70 people. Call (505) 682-7570 prior to the arrival date to get the gate lock combination. There is no public phone. There is no water available at this site; water can be obtained at Deerhead Campground until Labor Day. Fire restrictions may apply. Fees are $75 per day for 1-30 people, and $95 per day for 31-70 people.

Aspen Group Area (NM) PO BOX 836 Cloudcroft NM 88317 In southeast New Mexico, approximately 20 miles east of Alamagordo. From Alamagordo take US 82 east and go 16 miles. Just before Cloudcraft turn right (South) on NM 130. Go 1.4 miles. Turn left (east) on Forest Road 24B, go 0.5 miles. Aspen Group Area is on the left across from Black Bear Group Area.
