Foxtail Picnic Area is located about 47 miles from downtown Las Vegas at an elevation of 8300 feet. Set in a pine forest, this picnic area has 3 large group sites. This is a developed facility with flush toilets. It is open year round.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. No overnight camping. These sites are day use only. Parking space is limited. Any extra vehicles which fit on the spurs will be assessed an extra vehicle fee on site. Reservations are taken from mid-May through Columbus Day in October; sites may be available on a first come - first served basis outside the reservation season. Water spigots are shared between sites and are located a FEW FT away. Please check with the Forest Service for current fire restrictions 702- 515-5400. FEES INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE TAXES
