Mcwilliams Campground Description

McWilliams Campground is located 50 miles from downtown Las Vegas at an elevation of 8300 feet. This rustic campground is set among pines and junipers and has 40 sites. Campers come here to hike and bike on the Bristlecone Trail. Sites may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis prior to reservation opening dates and after reservation closure dates if the site has been opened in the spring or has not closed for the winter. Expect heavy snow from November through March.

Please check with the Forest Service for current fire restrictions 702-515-5400. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Reservations are taken from mid-May through Columbus Day in October; sites may be available on a first come - first served basis outside the reservation season. Notice: No more than 2 vehicles per single site will be allowed. Group sites will be allowed a maximum of 4 vehicles. 2 nights minimum on weekends. 3 nights minimum on holidays. FEES INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE TAXES
