This campground is located on Oregon Hwy 126 in the mid-Cascades Mountains full of Douglas Fir and old growth at an elevation of 2800. Cold Water Cove is not Clear Lake Campground in the Mt. Hood National Forest. It is adjacent to Clear Lake and the private Clear Lake Resort. There is a popular dayuse area with a boat ramp for non-motorized water craft and an informational trail around the lake. Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Bring confirmation letter to the campground. Do not leave home without it. This campground has both reservable and first come first serve sites. Cold Water Cove is not Clear Lake Campground in the Mt. Hood National Forest. For reservations this campground requires a 2 night minimum on weekends and 3 nights on holidays. Bring your confirmation letter with you to campground. Do Not leave home without it. Site fee includes payment for the site and one vehicle. Any additional vehicles will be charged a fee of $8.00 at the campground. Maximum # of vehicles are site dependant. Extra vehicles must fit within the campsites designated parking areas. Parking spurs may not be perfectly level. Pets are allowed but need to be restrained. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. No discharge of FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS. NO CHAINSAWS.
