Imnaha Guard Station Campground Description

The Guard Station was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the southern Oregon Cascade Region. The cabin is equipped with drinking water, a propane stove, water heater refrigerator, heater, a wood-burning fireplace, indoor toilet, sink and shower. A bed, table and chairs and kitchen utensils and firewood are a provided.

There is a 3 day minimum advance window for reservations. Check out time is 12:00 pm and check in time is 2:00 pm. The cabin is equipped with a propane stove, refrigerator, heater fireplace, shower and toilet. Firewood, bed, table, chairs and kitchen utensils are also provided. The combination to this cabin will be included in your confirmation letter. Please call/email the High Cascades Ranger District office at 541.865.2700 4 days prior to your arrival to confirm your combination. For your convenience, the office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 and closed on weekends and holidays.

Imnaha Guard Station (OR) P.O. BOX 227 Butte Falls OR 97522 Travel East on the Red Blanket Rd (towards Butte Falls) from the town of Prospect about 4 miles to Forest Rd 37; turn left on 37 and continue about 10 miles to Imnaha Campground. The cabin is adjacent to Imnaha Campground.
