Perry South Campground Description

The campground is at an elevation of 2000 feet, in a forest tree mix of Conifer and located approx 25 miles North of Sisters. The campground has a boat ramp and fish cleaning station. Popular activities in the area include: hiking, fishing and motorized boating. Dock space is available for tie up on two docks on a first come first serve basis. There are both reservable and first come first serve sites at this campground. Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. Perry South Campground Alerts

Reservations must be made 7 days in advance. Highway 97 route through Madras is paved 90% of the way. All other alternate routes are rough Forest Service roads. Only one vehicle is included in reservation payment. All additional vehicles will be charged $8. Extra vehicles must fit within the campsites designated parking areas. Maximum # of vehicles are site dependant. Parking spurs may not be perfectly level. Pets are allowed but need to be restrained. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. No discharge of FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS. NO CHAINSAWS Water is available in the campground. Campground has both reservable and first come first serve sites.

Perry South Campground (OR) PERRY SOUTH CAMPGROUND Culver OR 97734 Approx 8 Miles west of Sisters on Hwy 20/126 turn right onto Indian Ford Road / Forest Service Road 11. Travel straight approx. 10 miles, pavement ends, bear right onto gravel/cinder road. Approx. 10 miles more, turn right onto FS Rd. 1170. Continue on Rd. 1170 Turn left onto gravel FS Rd. 64. Approx 3 mi to campground. From the eastside of Portland take Hwy 26 South (approx 100 mi) to Madras. Straight ahead to Hwy 97, turn right on exit to Cove Palisades and Culver rd. Follow signs. Cross bridge over Lake Billy Chinook continuing to follow signs. Pavement will end continue on gravel road, FS Rd 63 turns into FS Rd 64. Approx 5 mi to campground.
