Anderson Road Campground Description

Anderson Road Campground is located on Percy Priest Lake 5 miles east of Nashville, TN. Wildlife in this area includes ever-present whitetail deer, while skunks and raccoons are occasional residents. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming. The campground offers 37 sites. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a picnic shelter, a boat launch, and public telephones.

Anderson Road Campground Alerts

For the 2009 season, Anderson Road Campground is open May 13 at 8am - closed September 8 at 2pm. Camping fees range from $10-$12/night. Campsite reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. There is a 2 night minimum stay on weekends and a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. *There are no electricity / water / sewer site hook-ups at this campground.* Campers must check-in at park attendant entrance station before camping. No ATV's or ORV's allowed. Camping equipment is limited to two tents, or one RV and one tent, per campsite. All camping equipment must be on the impact area or pullout. Camper occupancy is limited to 8 people maximum per site. Visitors to campers will be charged a $3.00 fee and must be out of the campground by 10 pm. CAUTION: Skunks frequent the area. All food must be stored in approved containers. Campground quiet hours are in effect from 10 pm until 6 am. Unreasonably loud noise or audio devices are prohibited any time. The cutting of standing trees for firewood is prohibited. Anderson Road Picnic Shelter Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance for the shelter. The shelters are available for reservation from April 01 - October 30, excluding Sundays between May 23 and July 19, 2009. The cost is $40 a day for up to 160 people. The reservation fee is for the reservation of the shelter only. All shelter users must pay the day use fee of $4.00 per vehicle when entering the park. Alcohol and pets are prohibited in the Day Use Area, which includes the Picnic Shelter. Items such as public address systems and amusement rides are not allowed. Activities other than picnicking activities must be approved by the Resource Manager and may require a Special Event Permit. The day use area, which includes the launch ramp and picnic shelter, will close at 7 p.m. Anderson Road does NOT give rain checks or refunds for inclement weather. Anderson Road (TN) 4010 ANDERSON ROAD Nashville TN 37217 From dowtown Nashville, TN, take I-40 east 5 miles to Exit 219, Stewarts Ferry Pike. Turn right on Stewarts Ferry Pike, and go straight on Bell Road 5 miles, left on Smith Springs Road. Go 1 mile and turn left on Anderson Rd. Go another mile and the campground will be on the left. The Day Use Area with Picnic Shelter is straight ahead.
