
Laguardo Recreation Area is located on Old Hickory Lake just outside of Nashville, TN, near Opryland, USA and the Hermitage, which is the historical home of President Andrew Jackson. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming just to name a few activities. An abundance of wildlife can be seen including migratory songbirds, white-tailed deer, wild turkey, squirrels, rabbits, and snakes. A picnic shelter is available for you and your family and friends to enjoy a day at the lake picnicking or visiting.

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. The day use shelter is available from May 9- September 1 and can be reserved for $35/day. The shelter will accommodate 50 people and 75 vehicles. Check in time is 6am and check out time is 10pm. More information about this area may be obtained by calling (615)822- 4846. There will be a fee of $4 per vehicle charged at the recreation area in addition to the shelter reservation fee.
Laguardo (TN) 7609 HWY 109 NORTH Lebanon TN 37087 E of Nashville, TN, on I 40, exit onto Hwy 109 N and follow for 8 mi. The recreation area entrance is located on the left side of Hwy 109. Follow signs.
