Belton Lakeview Park Campground Description

Customers must contact 254-939-2461 Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to obtain the combination to the gate lock at the site. Please see the gate attendants at Live Oak Ridge Park (just on the other side of Belton Dam on FM 2271 or call 254/780-1738) if you have any problems with the shelter. Vehicle and person capacity limits are strictly enforced. If your gathering may exceed these limits or is an event requiring use of any other park amenity or area, such as a boat ramp, picnic, or parking area, you MUST REQUEST A LAKE ACTIVITY PERMIT by calling 254-939-2461 a minimum of 14 days, 30 days in advance is preferred, prior to the date of the event. Events requiring a Lake Activity Permit, in addition to above include, but are not limited to, fishing tournaments, sporting events and any event where attendees are required to pay a fee to attend, prizes are awarded or the nature of the event may infringe or disrupt the use of the park or portion of the park (other than the group pavilion area) by the general public. Each request will be evaluated for potential adverse impact on public safety, park park facilities & utility systems, sanitation and natural resources. Belton Lakeview Park is located on a bluff overlooking Belton Lake and Dam. This park offers 3 Group Use facilities to accommodate a variety of activities. All Group Sites offer large pavilions, water and electric with flush restrooms nearby.

Belton Lakeview Park Campground Alerts

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. For questions or problems with shelters after hours or weekends see the gate attendant on the other side of Belton Dam at Live Oak Ridge Park or call 254/780-1738. FRANKS and OVERL have views of Belton Lake but they do NOT have water access. GUA has no view or water access of the Lake.
