Colorado Bend State Park Campground Description

Entrance fee: $4 per person, per day 13 years and older. $3 per person, per day 13 and older for overnight use. $2 per person, per day Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after. Entrance fees are in addition to Campsite or day use facility fees. An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site. Reservations are recommended for cave tours, call the park info. Guided interpretive tours to Gorman Falls are available on Saturday at 2pm. Fees are $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12, & children under 6 are free. Gorman Falls is now accessible by a day use hiking trail. The trail length is approx. 4 miles round trip.

Colorado Bend State Park Po Box 118 Bend TX 76824 From Austin: Take Hwy 183 North to Lampases. Take FM 580 to Bend, Tx. From Bend, there are 10 miles of gravel road to the Park Headquarters. Be sure to follow the signs. From Waco: Take I 35 South to Belton. Exit to Hwy 190 West and go to Lampasas. Take FM 580 to Bend, Tx. From Bend, there are 10 miles of gravel road to the Park Headquarters. Be sure to follow the signs. From San Saba: Take HWY 190 East to FM 580 East to Bend. From Bend, there are 10 miles of gravel road to the Park Headquarters. Be sure to follow the signs.
