Jim Hogg Park is located on the north side of Georgetown Lake, which is located in the hill country area of Texas approximately 25 miles north of Austin. The park was named for former Texas Governor Jim Hogg. Visitors enjoy camping, fishing, boating, picnicking, and all nature has to share. Jim Hogg Park offers 148 campsites with water and 30amp/20 amp electrical hookups. Additional ammenities include hot showers, a dump station, a boat ramp, fishing docks, and public telephones.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum holiday weekend stay. The campground is open year round and park hours are 6am to 10pm. Campsites are $18-$30 per night. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 2pm. Sites 79-148 are closed December 1 to February 28. From Dec 1 to Feb 28 only the following is available for reservations: 6 Double sites 2 Screen Shelters 70 Single Sites During this time period the upper loop is closed, which result in less sites being available for reservations. Upon arrival, campers may only check in for the site they are occupying. *Multiple res holders cannot pick the second or third site(s) unless there is another person(s) there.* Once the park closes at 10:00pm, no one may enter by vehicle until 6:00am.
