Lockhart State Park Campground Description

Entrance fee: $2 per day, per person 13 and older. $1 per day, per person Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after. Entrance fees are in addition to campsite or day use facility fees. Office Houres: Peak season (daylight savings time) 8am-7pm. Non-Peak season (fall time change) 8am-5pm. Open 7 days per week. Late arrivals please use the self pay station located at Park Headquarters. An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site.

Lockhart State Park 4179 State Park Rd. Lockhart TX 78644-9716 From Austin: Take Hwy 183 South approximately 30 miles to Lockhart. Turn right on Hwy 20 West (State Park Road) at the Dairy Queen. Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left. From Houston: Take I 10 West to the first Luling exit. Take Hwy 183 North to Lockhart. Turn left on Hwy 20 at the Dairy Queen (3rd light). Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left.
