Towering 2,000 feet directly above the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point State Park provides a breathtaking panorama of the sculptured pinnacles and buttes of Canyonlands National Park. A new visitor center offers information on the history, geology, and biology of the area. The small and remote, but very popular, campground rests in a beautiful red rock desert environment. There are no showers available and the closest town of Moab is 25 miles away.

Group reservations are accepted up to 11 months in advance of park departure date. A $10.25 non-refundable reservation fee is charged for group sites and building rentals., A minimum, non-refundable fee, will be charged at the time the reservation is made.
