Adjacent to the South Tongue River and Prune Creek. Space generally allows for no more than one or two tents (8' x 10' tents). Sibley Lake is 2 miles to the east. No public showers. Showers are available at neaby lodges, approximately 5 miles to the west. There is a visitor center 2.5 miles west of the campground.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Two non-towed vehicles may be parked per site; the first vehicle is included in the basic fee, the second vehicle is charged an extra fee of $8.00, which will be collected at the campground. Prune Creek Campground reserves the right to substitute campsites without prior notice. Sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside and during the reservation season.
