Details

Bonita Canyon Campground has 22 sites available on a first-come, first-served basis for tents and recreational vehicles 29 feet or less. It features restrooms with flush toilets, running water, picnic tables and trash pickup. There are no hookups or showers. Camping is limited to 14 days, and is restricted to the campground. No backcountry camping is available in the Monument. The Group Site is open to reservations, only. Call 520-824-3560 x501. It is limited to a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 24. Tents only for the groupsite - no recreational vehicles or pop-up trailers. There are no food services, vending machines, gasoline, or lodging in the Monument. Be sure you are well-supplied before making the trip. Dogs are permitted. They must be on a leash at all times and not left alone. You may walk them on the lower canyon trails between the campground, visitor center, and entrance station. Dogs are not permitted on the wilderness area trails among the rock formations.
