Cumberland Island National Seashore
Summers (May through September) are humid and temperatures can range from the mid 80s to the mid 90s. Winters are generally short with variable precipitation and occasional "northeasters." Temperatures range from mid 60s to mid 70s. Layers of clothing are recommended, especially in spring and fall. Rain gear, and good walking shoes or light weight hiking boots are suggested.
