Curecanti National Recreation Area - Fees
Fees Free! Details There is no entrance fee for Curecanti, except at East Portal. The entrance fee at East Portal is $15.00 per vehicle. It covers all persons in a single, private, noncommercial vehicle and is valid for seven calendar days. ACTIVITY FEES Boat Permit Fees $30.00 - Annual $10.00 - 14 Days $4.00 - 2 Days Details Fees for boating access on Blue Mesa Reservoir, within Curecanti National Recreation Area, are required for all motorized and/or state registered vessels. These user fees are half-price for those visitors who possess the federal Golden Age or Access permits. Annual Permits are good for the calendar year. Morrow Point Boat Tours The Morrow Point Boat Tour is a 1 1/2 hour trip through the upper Black Canyon within Curecanti. Passengers ride through the canyon on a 42-passenger pontoon boat, accompanied by a National Park Ranger or volunteer to tell the story behind the scenery. TOUR TIMES Tours run twice a day at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm everyday except Tuesday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. |
