Mill Cr Camping Campground

Description: Located in Ohio on Berlin Lake, Mill Creek Campground offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Whether it's boating, fishing, camping, or picnicking, you'll find it at Mill Creek Campground. Berlin Lake, with 3590 water acres at summer pool, is renowned for its excellent walleye fishing. It is one of the few area lakes where natural reproduction of the species occurs. Berlin Lake also has nesting ospreys, beaver, and occasional sightings of bald eagles. Mill Creek Campground, with 348 sites ranging from wooded water sites to grassy sites in the sun, electric and non-electric, is an ideal family campground. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, flush restrooms, a boat ramp, playgrounds, and a self-guided interpretive trail.

Shenango Rec Area Campground

Description: Shenango Recreation Area Campground is situated within the broad, flat, meandering valleys of Shenango River and Pymatuning Creek. The lake provides an attractive setting for visitors who may choose to spend their day picnicking, camping, boating, or enjoying nature's beauty. Many fishing enthusiasts are attracted to the waters for the bass, walleye, muskellunge, and a variety of panfish that inhabit the lake. Deer, turkey, and other small game are also plentiful, and there are excellent opportunities to observe osprey and eagles in the area. Shenango Recreation Area is approximately 7 miles northeast of Sharon, PA, and about 21 miles east of Youngstown, Ohio. Local attractions include Kidds Mill covered bridge, the remnants of the Erie Extension Canal, and the Great Blue Heron Sanctuary.

Delaware Lake Damsite Shelter Campground

Description: Delaware Lake Damsite Picnic Shelter is located within the Day-Use-Area, beyond rest rooms and next to playground. There is one large and one small charcoal grill at the shelter. Alum Creek Below Dam Area Campground

Description: Alum Creek Lake is located in Delaware County, Ohio, north of the City of Columbus. There are two picnic shelters in the Below Dam Area, with non-reservable picnic tables and grills outside of the shelters available on a first come, first serve basis. Other amenities in the recreation area include: flush toilets, drinking water, playgrounds, grills, and fishing access. The Corps of Engineers Visitor Center is located a short driving distance from the shelters. Exhibits, maps and brochures can be found at the visitor center. Facilities at adjacent Alum Creek State Park include a 3000' swimming beach, a marina which offers a variety of boat rentals, hiking, mountain biking and horseback trails, and a 297 site campground. Attractions near the lake include the Columbus Zoo, the Center of Science and industry (COSI), Olentangy Indian Caverns, the Polaris Fashion Place Mall and Polaris Amphitheater.
