User fees will be collected at user fee sites beginning on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Lifeguards come on duty on at Smithfields and Milford Beaches on Saturday, June 17, 2006.

For APPALACHIAN TRAIL, see BACKPACKING and HIKING.

For quiet recreation such as PICNICKING, SIGHTSEEING, DOG-WALKING, viewing WILDLIFE, and PHOTOGRAPHY, see AUTO TOURING.

SNOWMOBILES, ORV/ATV off-road vehicles, and PERSONAL WATER CRAFT (jet-skis) are not permitted in the park.
