For 40 miles the river passes between low forested mountains with barely a house in sight. Then it swerves left and right to cut through the mountains on its path to the sea.

CLOSURES:

This park encompasses 40 miles of the Delaware river and 67,000 acres of its valley in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Some roads and sites in the park may be closed for safety or maintenance.
