The park is open to visitors 360 days each year.
The park's operating hours change two times each year when Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins and ends.
In 2009, the park's summer hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and begin on March 8.
In 2009-10, the park's winter hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and begin on November 1.
In 2010, the park's summer hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and begin on March 14.
In 2010-11, the park's winter hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and begin on November 7.

The Fort and Visitor Center are closed on November 25, and December 24-25 and January 1.
Three different videos are offered, describing the inland fur trade and the history of Fort Vancouver, the people and places of the Vancouver National Hisotric Reserve, and Lewis and Clark in Washington.
The Visitor Center offers exhibits depicting the Vancouver National Historic Reserve and its role in the exploration, settlement, and development of the Pacific Northwest.
Available Facilities
A Northwest Interpretive Association sales area is located within the Visitor Center. A covered picnic shelter, picnic tables, and a small playground are available for visitor use.
The McLoughlin House and adjacent Barclay House are open for visitation five days a week, Wednesday through Saturday (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.). Tours start at the Barclay House. The houses are closed on major holidays, for nearly two weeks at the end of the calendar year, and during each January.
