Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park - Facilities![]() Open Daily, 10:00-6:00 Location The exhibit shelter is located on Grant Drive approximately 12 miles southwest of Fredericksburg. Exhibits Exhibits on the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House. Historians at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville can provide information and answer questions about the Battle of Spotsylvania. Available Facilities There is an open air shelter of exhibit, but no visitor center. There are port-a-potties near the shelter. There is a five mile driving tour and seven miles of walking trails. Stonewall Jackson Shrine Open Daily 9-5 Phone 804-633-6076 Location On Highway 606 approximately 5 miles east of I-95 and about 15 miles south of Fredericksburg. Special Programs Historians inform visitors about the last days of General "Stonewall" Jackson and the significance of his death in this building. MUSEUMS Chatham Manor Open Daily 9-4:30 Phone 540-654-5121 Location 120 Chatham Lane. Across the Rappahannock River from downtown Fredericksburg. Closures The building is closed on New Year"s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Exhibits Exhibits in a historic house. The exhibits focus on Chatham"s Civil War history and the 15 families that owned Chatham. VISITOR CENTERS Chancellorsville Visitor Center Open Daily 8:30-6:30 Phone 540 786-2880 Closures New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Exhibits Exhibits and movie on the battle. Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center Open Daily 8:30-6:30 Phone 540-373-6122 Location The Visitor Center is located at the intersection of Lafayatte Boulevard and Sunken Road in Fredericksburg. Closures New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Exhibits Exhibits about the Battle of Fredericksburg and a 22 minute film on the battle. |
