Friendship Hill National Historic Site - Plan Your Visit

We suggest you start your visit at the visitor center. The visitor center is located in the historic Gallatin House.

Please note: While the park is open Sunrise to Sunset - the Gallatin House Visitor Center may be closed.

Gallatin House Visitor Center
The Gallatin House is open - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily April through October.

Getting There

Plane
Less than 2 hours from Greater Pittsburgh International Airport. Commuter flights may be available to Morgantown, WV --25 minutes away.

Car
The park is located three (3) miles north of Point Marion, Pennsylvania on state route 166.

Nearby major roads include Interstates 68 & 79, U.S. Routes 40 & 119 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
