Essentially it's the hooded version of the award-winning Arc'teryx Gamma MX Jacket, with the same warm and lightweight Polartec Power Shield fabric in an identical athletic cut. The fabric features a special DWR finish that keeps moisture away from your skin on misty mornings and foggy ascents. Unlike most so-called performance fleece, Polartec Power Shield fabric is exceptionally resilient to wear and won't snag like other material. Gear and gadget freaks will appreciate the five storage pockets, including a laminated sleeve pocket sized for a two-way radio. Best Jacket I've Ever Owned
Pros: Looks GREAT, fits me perfect in medium (5'10" 158lbs athletic ectomortph body), VERY obvious high quality build, was an absolute steal for $230, very comfortable, very versatile, in general just a very well made jacket. Highly reccomended. Cons: Only very minor, the hood is quite large (intended for use with helmets) so it does look a bit big when worn regularly. Also the jacket opens quite wide when not zipped up (in part due to the large hoody). If you wear your jacket unzipped often, the non-hoody version might be better for you.

athletic fit. great fabric and weatherproof
Trim athletic fit. Little tight under the arms wearing a mid-weight, long sleeve top and a fleece jacket. Nice length in back; slightly longer in back than front. Like all Arc'teryx, really long sleeves to fit my long arms. Great fabric and waterproof. Shoveled a 10 inch snow fall from driveway and was comfortable in the 15-20 degree F temps with 10 mph wind.

Great Buy
Awesome Jacket , great quality , great looks. I was expecting something a little thicker. The hoody is big enough to use with a climbing helmet. Great overall jacket
