Built for fast moving skiers and mountaineers, the Arcteryx Gamma SV Hoody for Men is a highly breathable, durable, insulated softshell ski jacket constructed with Polartec Power Shield High Loft on the torso shoulders for maximum heat retention and midwarmth Polartec Power Shield on the sides, arms and hood for reduced bulk. The Gamma SV has 4way stretch so it will move with you as make your push for the summit bid and not get in the way as you rip through the trees on the back side.

Great Hoody, Very Warm
I love my Gamma SV, the SV standing for severe conditions so it's not for everyone but I use mine for everything but torrential rain, it is very comfortable with it's non athletic "relaxed fit" as per the Arc web site, I tend to sweat a lot (sorry) and though there are no pit zips this thing is very breathable the high loft power shield is so nice against the skin and the hood is super warm and comfy. This is one of my favorite jackets from Arc, I had to by two for me and one for my girlfriend. Would I wear it in a downpour, No but I sure wear it a lot.

Decent
Nice material and quality. I know it is an athletic fit but I got a medium (5'11", 182 lbs, 42R suit jacket size).
