If you are going to battle the cold, having the right weapons and knowing how to use them is the key to victory. The Arcteryx Hercules Hoody for Men is a musthave piece when building your arsenal. Longshag, comfy fleece lines the hood & body of the Hercules, holding in body heat while the smooth external face fabric, with exceptional breathethrough capabilities, keeps moisture under control. This hooded, formfitting midweight insulation layer can be worth under your shell to add a powerful punch in the face of the cold, or alone on a day when you just need to fight a light chill.
Great jacket
Stylish, practical, and very light. Can be worn on the slopes or on the cold night in the city. It protects you from the elements and helps you be warm and look cool in the process. Great jacket!
I love it!
It's very good!
A Good Item
A first-rate piece (like most Arc'teryx items), though it seems not quite as technical as most Arc'teryx pieces. Thanks to the high-loft fleece interior, it has kept me warm in single digit F temps in the Adirondacks at the start of a trip up a peak, and kept me warm again at the summit. Also kept me warm during Columbus Day snowstorm in the Adirondacks while camping in a lean-to. It feels less fitted than most Arc'teryx items, and more comfortable. The hood is also fleece lined, and it keeps my ears warm. Its exterior fabric feels like any other Polartec Powershield, but Arcteryx says it is Powershield O2, which it claims is more breathable. It does not have a wind flap, which is too bad, but I can't say it bothered me too much even in moderately windy conditions.
