The designers at Arc'teryx know ski patrollers and instructors can't pack up and go home when blue skies turn gray or that season pass holders hit the slopes only when the conditions are perfect. Therefore, they built the Sidewinder SV Pant with 480N GORE-TEX 3 Layer Pro, a highly abrasion resistant fabric that raises the already high standard of GORE-TEX performance. The breathability and waterproof durability is better than ever while fabric weight is lighter than the pervious generation of GORE-TEX. One of the big advances here is the use of smaller seam allowances and narrower seam tape, a combination that improves suppleness, reduces bulk, weight, and helps the pant breathe better. Other great features include dual waist adjusters, thigh vents to extend the comfort range, and laminated zippers and powder cuffs as yet another means of improving the Sidewinder SV's supple feel.

they fit as if they were taylored just to me
These pants are tough and look great at the same time.They are completely wind and water proof and when inside and you get too warm the side zips are a nice touch They are not bulky or too stiff either.Sum it up to say I love them!

Great pant for Colorado skiing
From the moment I took these pants out of the box,I knew they were diferrent. I have worn an Arc'teryx jacket for years and loved it. The pants come in short length, good for my body build. They are very light but after three days in stormy conditions, the pants are performing as expected. They kept me warm in 60 mph winds and and dry sitting on snow covered lift chairs. The side vents let me regulate body temps as I hiked along 12,000' ridges. The pants are expensive, but should stand up for many seasons.
