Waist and hem drawcords, articulated elbows, and no-lift gusseted underarms allow for full range of motion while blocking cold drafts and spindrift. Very Nice Shell
Excellent construction. A little stiffer than I expected but not overly so. As far as fit goes I'm 5'9" and about 165. The medium is perfect in my opinion. There is plenty of room to layer (it is a shell) and good room in the shoulders and upper back to move but it still close fitting if that makes since. The drawstrings are great and I like that the tail goes to the bottom of my butt. The hood is large, maybe a little to large without a helmet or hoodie on but I like that. Great zippers. I'm looking forward to many years of use from this shell. Worth the money.

This jacket is amazing.
This jacket is amazing. From the gore-tex treated fabric to the seam sealed zippers, the contruction feels indestructable. The hood is amazing and isn't uncomfortable like other shells I've had which include Patagonia, Marmot, and The North Face. The shoulders on a size medium are a hair on the broad side, but I'm sure once I've got layers on, I'm not going to regret getting the medium. This jacket is definately worth the money and I am more than happy with it. I highly recommend this item.

Great construction but a little big despite the athletic fit
Great construction, and it's nice to see that this jacket is made in Canada. The added length in the back is a great feature. Regarding fit, I'm approx 5'8" and 165 lbs but lean for my weight due to my big head, which some people think is filled with stones. Anyway, the medium was too large in the shoulders. Altrec doesn't stock small, so I had to order one from another firm. The small fits perfectly.
