That's because the Arc'teryx Gamma MX Hoody has a helmet-compatible Storm Hood that keeps you covered better up top. Like the Gamma MX Jacket, the Hoody features Polartec Power Shield fabric, a technical blended material that features tightly woven nylon on the outside laminated to a wicking insulation layer inside, so it protects you from the elements while still allowing for breathable soft shell performance with a four-way fabric stretch. Stitch-free laminated zippers, pockets and drawcord optimize the technical protection while reducing the overall weight.
