With a completely redesigned shape, the Black Diamond Cobra Hammer continues its' legendary status as a leashless/mixed and alpine climbing tool. The new profile, that reduces the overall weight of the Cobra by over 100 grams, is lightweight carbon fiber shafted to provide the most clearance of any BD ice tool without sacrificing balance or axis rotation. Focusing the majority weight in the head, the carbon fiber shaft also provides damp, balanced, wrist-flick sticks that are vibration-free with minimal flex, Over-molded and textured, a new minimized rubber grip integrates the Cobra's lower shaft for a flush fit, positive control and a secure, precise grip. This multi-alpine tool comes equipped with Laser Pick, removable Fang and Strike. An optional Android Leash can be added for hard ice climbing.
