Designed for three season backpacking endeavors, the Bridgedale Women's Endurance Trekker Sock is patterned to fit women specifically. For a precise comfort fit, this sock is knitted with a lower volume mid-foot, narrow heel, and slim toe box. The anatomic midweight cushioning provides greater comfort and blister protection in the Achilles-heel, 360-degrees around the forefoot, and toe box area. The unique knitting construction around the ankle features a deep heel pocket with crafted ankle flex and moisture moving mesh. Additional knitting is strategically placed over the instep and around the cuff for all-around protective comfort. Bridgedale's Woolfusion technology sock yarn blends moisture absorbing New Wool with wicking Endurofil. This minimizes moisture build-up next to the skin and enhances lasting comfort and blister control. The Bridgedale Endurance Trekker Sock for women is fashioned to be worn with full height medium volume footwear.

Worth every penny
I have owned 3 pair of these socks for at least 5 years and I grab them first when I put shoes on every day. That means I have warn them at least once a week for 5 years and they still do not show signs of wear. I would like to have a pair for every day of the week but I cannot afford them. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get some for free.

For me its all about the fit. These socks are the best around. The toe and heel ratio is perfect for my foot. I have to mention the comfort and feel on my skin. A little bit of heaven on my feet.

Absolutely the best wool socks I have ever owned!
A year ago I purchased 4 pair of Smartwool and 1 pair of Bridgedale ski socks that were on sale. It was the first time I ever wore a Bridgedale sock and I was immediately impressed with them. Even more so after wearing them through the winter activities and several washings. The Bridgedale socks were more comfortable and maintained their like new look and feel and were superior to the Smartwool I had be purchasing for years. I bought more Bridgedale socks for all my outdoor activities and love the sorry Smartwool but I have a new favorite.
