Warm and Dry
Okay, so I was thinking the other day... "Why are snowboarding gloves so bulky." All my gloves have always sucked to try to fine tune bindings and get into zipper pockets. So I set out to find snowboarding gloves that "Fit like a glove". The Men's AK Guide glove definitely appears to fit that description. They are super low profile and their design clearly eliminates any extra bulk. The gloves are a bit hard to put on, but once they're on your hand everything feels just right. But how do they perform? Being they were so small, I was a little skeptical at first. Luckily for me, the first day I wanted to test them was a cold, but rainy day on the mountain. My entire snowboarding outfit was soaked by mid-morning, except for the gloves. Not only did they keep all the water out, they remained super warm. The next day I took them out was about 18 degrees with high wind, and they performed like a champ once again. These gloves are highly recommended and can withstand any conditions found during a typical mountain day.
