Carhartt Men's Extremes Hood - Arctic Quilt Lined
Designed to fit Carhartt's Extremes coat (C55) and Extremes coverall (X06), the Men's Extremes Hood - Arctic Quilt Lined is constructed of tough 1000-denier Cordura nylon. For warmth, it features a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation. There's an adjustable draw cord, plus a wrap-around chin protector with hook-and-loop closure.

Matching hood to Atomic warm Extreme Arctic jacket
This hood repels weather with extreme prejudice. It looks at an arctic outflow warnings and laughs. This hood matched up with the Carhartt jacket takes a weather bomb and drops it right back on where it came from. I am being funny here but the point is the hood that goes with that jacket is incredibly warm and durable. I think I have to go with Carhartt here on out. The quality has really surprised me matched up with the price. That said, there are other jackets and such out there that are twice to three times the price that are not the same quality. So, there are other hoods and jackets out there but for me... I got to go with Carhartt... the quality will just last for years and years. Altrec is the place for me to buy it. They say they match the price but really what does that matter if they are the lowest price anyway.
