Great crag pack and light enough to do a serious fast ass
So many nice features and so light it really is a good pack for just about anything. I use it mainly as a crag pack but could be used as a go light fast hike pack as well. Love all the little pockets, sides, bottom, top and under the top as well as a quick access pocket on the front. It also has the ability of accommodating a hydration system and a rain cover built in. I researched before I bought it and I really think I got the right pack.

Better than I thought
I am really happy with my Futura Pro 42 Backpack. I love the quality of the construction, the details, the size, the comfort and "the way it makes me feel". I am sure it will be a great companion climbing "El Yunque" and other mountains from Puerto Rico and the world. Thank you, Deuter and Altrec.

Great to haul bags of gravel!
I did some trail maintenance and had to carry gravel 1/4 mile from the trail head and I did lots of round trips. I lined the pack with a burlap bag and filled it 3/4 full and hauled away. It was heavy but the harness carried the load super well. The hip belt was key as I could transfer most of the weight to my waist and walked/ran hard for several hours which was like weight lifting while hiking. The trail is a bit better for the effort and my pack is awesome!
