The secondary drop down door inside these show stealers ensures their rightful place--head and shoulders above the competition.
Great tent for the money- easy to set up
This tent is amazing compared to my old Eureeka Timberline. Setup took me about 5 minutes on my 2nd try. The tent body is very light and has tons of mesh for star gazing and breezy summer nights. In case of foul weather, the fain fly is pretty thick and seems quite durable. I've only used mine in decent (but cold) weather so far. To protect the floor of the tent I bought an inexpensive tarp and cut a footprint for it (including the vestibule) which fits in the bag as if it were meant to be. I'd say overall a great value.
Lightweight and Easy To Use
Bought this for my son to use for Scout campouts. His previous tent had unbearable condensation issues and was unstable in anything other than perfect conditions. The Eureka is very easy to set up. My son is 12 and can manage it alone. We were very pleased with the ventilation. He had no condensation problems on this trip. They experienced some thunderstorm conditions their first night out but the tent had no problems with wind or rain. The second door on the side is a very nice plus to the design, making it easy to get in and out when the vestibule has lots of gear stored in it. The tent has plenty of room for my son, a buddy, and their gear. In a perfect world, the tent could be a little bit lighter, but for the cost, we feel like it is a best buy.
