When your Freestyling attitude takes a hit after a front lever face plant, the Giro Remedy S Helmet gives you the full-face protection to get up and give it another attempt. The tough carbon fiber shell with EPS impact foam liner is lightweight and offers full-wrap cushioning, so you won't feel totally rejected if you get your bell rung. The 14 vent flow-through design passes cool air from front to back to keep your temp down after a miss-hit. A removable visor offers additional protection, while keeping the sun out of your eyes when targeting the next launch. Delivering optimal coverage that stands up to the most radical line or jump, this helmet is preferred by out on-the-edge riders like J.P. Auclair and Pep Fujas.
Remedy S Helmet...Foggle Gogging...
Almost everyone who's reviewed these types of full-face helmets have complained about, "goggle fog." I have one and experienced the same thing. The simple answer is that they were made or styled after BMX comps. That means grit, stones, and debris coming at your face (and mouth). The solution is simple: peel back the glue/backing holding the screen mesh in and remove it. You will have no more problems with "Foggle Gogging!"
great helmet, excellent fit
This helmet rocks! excellent fit, comfortable chin strap, good ventilation, and great looks. Only down side, face guard causes exhaled air to flow back and fog goggles on cold days only while riding up on chairlift..not that much of a problem. Bottom line this is a great helmet
Great helmet, light, fresh, good color
I'm satisfied. I use this for "Down-Hill", and I think it's GREAT!
