A large pack design compressed into a performance utility package, the new for 07 Gregory Z22 Backpack is ultra light with a unique Jet Stream DTS (Dynamic Transfer System) suspension system. Like big brother, the harness system is mounted to the main pack on crisscrossing bars. A tensioning system that stiffens the frame and offers additional support when more weight is loaded into the pack, keeps the pack off your back for maximum airflow, while dynamically adjusting with the weight in your pack. Ideal for daylong fast packing adventures including mountain traverses, hiking, peak bagging, and adventure racing, this pack handles up to 25 pounds of gear comfortably in its 1,300 cubic inch capacity. The simple panel loading main pocket features a hydration sleeve, a small zipper pocket on top, and stretchy mesh outer pockets for random extras. The hip-belt stash pockets provide easy access of sunscreen, energy bars, MP3, and quick need necessities.

Well-designed daypack
Commuting by bike requires peace of mind, and Gregory achieves it with its Z22 daypack. The multiple straps easily fasten and remain true. The light weight of the pack welcomes the occasional heavy cargo and the Jet Stream DTS suspension makes commuting a breeze. The front stuff pocket is handy for any last minute item to take to the road. I've even lugged a 15.4 laptop in the Z22, and there was quite a bit of room to spare for a change of clothing. My only suggestion is to provide some sort of reflective material or tags on the back of the daypack for the hardy commuter. The Gregory Z22 is a keeper.

My husband is jealous of my new bag
I just used this bag at the Chicago triathlon and was pleased with how well all of my gear fit in it. It is easy to bike in and very comfortable.

Nice Design but larger than expected
Love Gregory products but I was expecting the pack to be a bit smaller at 22L. Fit wise ok but based on size and a little awkward fit I chose to pass on this one. For me this pack didn't work but I still prefer Gregory over any other brand.
