It's made of New Zealand Merino, naturally, in a winter weight. But it also has a touch of nylon and Lycra - around the Ibex office they call it stretch wool. This is fabric that moves with you during any activity. But because it's wool it works no matter what you're doing, regulating your temperature, managing moisture, and just generally performing the way you wish everything would.

Too long
These pants were way too long. I was going to have to wear two inch heals with pants that I wanted to wear casually. I am 5'5" and generally wear regular inseam pants. Sadly I had to send them back.

An Ibex product I did not love
Fit was fine, and the pants were certainly long enough, but the gray Ibex loose tights II were MUCH itchier than any other Ibex product I've ever tried. Also, the gray was not forgiving of any lumps or bumps you (OK, I) might have.
